management.
Deposit
Accounts
Due to the response from clients to this article in June's Newsletter, I have decided to do a follow up as the European Central Bank increased its base rate last month
by 0.25% to 4.25%. As a result of this increase Ptsb have increased their deposit rates by 0.25% on its two variable accounts, 0.35% on its six month
fixed account and 0.30% on its one year fixed account.
Please
see below the old and new deposit rates for comparison. These deposit rates are
very competitive and judging from client feedback they are also significantly
higher than the deposit rates available from their own bank.

Alternative Investment Opportunity
Scarcity of
oil and other natural resources, high commodities prices, pollution and the
reduction in the amount of natural drinking water available all seem to be
regular news headlines. These news headlines have impacted on our own daily
lives, to some degree, over the last few years. New
Ireland in conjunction with KBC Asset Management have designed two
investment funds to allow you to take advantage of what they believe are huge
growth areas for the future.
The flyers below outline the top ten stocks in both the Alternative Energy and Water funds. These
stocks are easily researched and are some of the biggest and
best known companies in their respective fields.
